Hermes is useful when it is wired into the way a company actually works. That means Slack, email, docs, project systems, CRM data, meetings, task lists, permissions, and a thousand small habits nobody wrote down.
This role is for someone who can deploy Hermes for small and mid-sized businesses without treating implementation like a software install. The work is partly technical, partly operational, partly training, and partly taste. You need to know when the user needs a better prompt, when the integration is wrong, and when the company has a workflow problem pretending to be an AI problem.
The best version of this person can sit with a client team, map their work, configure the system, ship the first useful workflows, and keep improving it until Hermes becomes part of the operating rhythm.
What you will do
- Deploy Hermes across Slack or other communication surfaces for client teams.
- Configure integrations, memory, skills, roles, scheduled tasks, and approval boundaries.
- Turn client workflows into useful agent behaviors with clear escalation paths.
- Train users without burying them in AI terminology.
- Debug deployment issues across APIs, auth, local services, webhooks, and user expectations.
What we need
- You are comfortable in terminals, APIs, config files, logs, and SaaS admin screens.
- You can talk to non-technical teams and still preserve technical precision.
- You have used AI agents enough to know what should be automated and what should stay human-approved.
- You can document deployment patterns clearly so the next client gets better faster.
- You like the last mile of implementation. That is where most of the value lives. Annoying, but true.
